Shakespearean sonnet :
Amidst this world of pride and cruel disdain, Where men oft vie for power and control, And those who differ must endure the pain Of judgment, hate, and persecution's toll. Injustice, greed, and malice do abound, As kindness, empathy, and love give way To callous hearts that seek to trample down The weak and vulnerable, day by day. Oh, how the poison of this toxic brew Corrupts our minds, our souls, our very being, And taints the world with hatred and with rue, Until we're blind to all that's worth seeing. But still we strive to rise above the fray, And seek a brighter, better, kinder way
